Disclaimer when not using Defender for Cloud - Standard
Hello.
Since the customers using this Cloud Insight are not the ones working in the platform, we need to put a disclaimer and a recommendation regarding security. In case we are not putting a disclaimer there, they might think that they are secure.
The disclaimer could read "You are not using Microsoft Defender for Cloud Standard. Only limited security information will be shown"
When entering Cloud Insights and Standard is not enabled, a suggestion to Implement Defender for Cloud - Standard should be put.
The implementation should be possible to order as a consultant task maybe with an addon that…12 votesSecurity related notifications and disclaimer feature has been approved in the 2025 H2 Cloud Insights roadmap and is currently set to be part of the "Security Scorecard and Notifications" release currently planned for 28 November

Support for M365 is a part of Cloud Insights "Cost Optimization" cost analysis provided
A high Public Cloud consuming customer (Multi-Cloud utilization of Azure, AWS, M365) seeks (or rather more truthfully were to "demand") that support for M365 is a part of Cloud Insights "Cost Optimization" cost analysis provided. This for it to be of interest for them in utilizing.

Present and potential compliance
In M365, Azure and AWS there are many possibilities to adjust compliance. Some section might be overlapping with other areas of interest. However, for many customers this is a prerequisite to cover in order to approve usage of a specific cloud.

User of Cloud Track in CI
Would it become easier for users to understand advices and use or ask for professional service if all the actions in the Advisory Report would be structured into the eight Cloud Track journeys?
Please comment!
4 votesCurrently this is put on hold. If CI team will see that this idea becomes really popular amongst all Nordic countries internally in Atea then this idea will be revisited.

AWS - Filter on per Account level
Filtering on Azure exist for subscriptions but the same does not exist for AWS using AWS accounts. This will be a requirement for all large/enterprise customers.
4 votesCurrently not enough AWS customer traction in order for the CI DevOps team to prioritize development for this.

Subscription selection
Customer feedback: Put ”check box” in front of each Sub name, so user can select several subs at the same time more easily
3 votesAfter reviewing this we can tell that currently in Cloud Insights multi filter selection already is present and working. What you are describing is a different method of multi-filter selection. If we get more customer request for this approach then we will revisit this.

Azure Forecast in reports
As a customer, I would like to be able to see an estimated consumption for the current month.
Microsoft Cost Management (see examples attached) shows Azure Consumption forecast from current date until the end date of current month. We experience that particularly larger customers with a large azure consumption are using this Microsoft forecast to track their costs and for accounting practices.
Please enable for the Microsoft Azure Consumption Forecast to be shown in Azure Report as well.
Additionally, color indicators for e.g. different resources aids to quickly identify changes in cost distribution.

3 votesHi, thank you for your question.
Actually starting as of early July this year we have released a completely new feature within Cloud Insights and that is Cost Forecast. So the Cost Forecast functionality as of now is available in Cloud Insights and if the customer is using Cloud Insights. Here in the down below screenshot you can also see that it is possible to filter the forecast data per Subscriptions, per Resource Groups, per Service, per Service Family and per Tags (and per Tag value). But how the forecast feature within Cloud Insights works is that the forecast data currently is not available for the currently running month. Rather at the moment the forecast data is available for the next calendar month. But obviously if there is a lot of customer demands that would like to have the forecast data available for the currently running month then we can…

Connection to Copilot in Microsoft Cost Management
Copilot in Microsoft Cost Management is in preview. Is there going to be a connection to this in Cloud Insight?
There is a risk the customer will use native cost management in Azure because it will be better to use Copilot in Cost management.

Atea's 'molnserver' within CloudInsights
It would probably create a better customer experience for those who run hybrid environments.
As we know the people who work within Atea's cloud server don't usually work with azure infrastructure(and vice versa). Getting 1 unified portal for both of these would give IT managers a bigger overview of their environment. (Note that target here would not me the ones managing the infrastructure, but the ones managing the ones who do).

Choose currency
Customers requests that it would be nice to be able to select which currency to consolidate.
2 votesThe situation regarding the currency is the following. At the moment, our logic is: we take the currency that is in the client's tenant costs. If there are several currencies -> then the one used in the majority of costs are used and showcased. Therefore, if this client has mostly used SEK, this will also be reflected in the CI. (the rest of the costs then also are converted to SEK). If the case of this changes, and most of the costs are now conditionally in NOK (or any other currency), then it will also automatically be reflected in CI and costs in other currencies will be converted into NOK (or any other currency).
Also regarding this it is good to know and keep in mind - when it comes to customer location it is also tricky, because maybe the client is registered in one country, but operated in other.

Show user name instead of Guid number
We have multiple customers who wants us to show the users name instead of Guid number. From a GDPR perspective the customers (and my self) see the guid number as a identifier in the same why as a name. And it would be easier for the customer to check if the member is a service account or a person if they see the name. From a user friendly perspective this would be great to fix if possible.
